You have to know the strengths, weaknesses and motivations of your team members to build an effective team. This process can be through interviews, team building activities or even through a casual meal together. Furthermore, this is a two-way process where both parties will be able to get to know and understand each other. Getting to know everyone and how everyone can complement each other will be key to building an effective team. Other than that, if you see someone with the potential to execute a certain role well, you can develop the person as well. An effective team is a team that is complementary. This means that everyone\u2019s skillset is unique, and it can cover up for someone\u2019s gap. Many of times, we want to hire the best talent.
